Born in Kenosha on March 4, 1919, he was the son of the late Francis A. and Mary E. (Cleary) Singer. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha attending local schools and graduating from Kenosha High School.
On June 12, 1943, he married Sophia Kelps at St Thomas Rectory in Kenosha. She preceded him in death.
He worked as a Funeral Director with the former Crossin Funeral Home and Bruch Funeral Home and retired from American Motors in 1981.
Jack enjoyed fishing and golfing and was a charter member of Bristol Oaks Country Club.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Mary Murray of Mesa, AZ and his son, James (Terry) Singer of Kenosha. He is further survived by his six grandchildren, one great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
Service Date November 29, 2015
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Matthew Episcopal Church, 5900 7th Ave. Private inurnment will take place in All Saints Cemetery.
