Born on November 6, 1927 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Anna (Thilges) Dagenbach. Joanne attended local school and was a graduate of Kenosha High School in 1946.
She married Raymond M. Regis on January 27, 1951 at St. George Catholic Church in Kenosha. Joanne was employed by the Credit Bureau of Kenosha for several years, retiring in 1985.
Joanne was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a former member of the Home and School Association. Also a member of the Catholic Women’s Club and a volunteer at Brookside Care Center. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, playing cards, gambling, and was an avid walker. Joanne crocheted several lovely afghans for family members. Ray and Joanne enjoyed travel and made trips to Europe and China.
Surviving Joanne are her two sons, Ross Regis of Portland, OR and Mark Regis of Gilbert, AZ; her sister, Rita Irving of Kenosha; daughter-in-law Lorraine Menza of Mokena, IL, and her grandchildren Robert, Andrew, and Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 2003, one daughter in infancy; her son, Ron in 2014; her brother Paul Dagenbach and sisters, Lorraine (James) Rheinschmidt and Collette (Harry) Nolen.
Service Date December 28, 2018
Funeral Services honoring the life of Joanne will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2224 45th Street, Kenosha. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
