Joanne was born on December 29, 1953 in Kenosha and was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Jo (Christensen) Wiberg. She was a 1972 graduate of St. Joseph High School.
On August 14, 1976 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Raymond Scuglik.
At the time of her death, Joanne was employed with the lower campus after care program with St. Joseph Catholic Academy. She loved her job working with the many students. As a young woman, Joanne worked at various banks as a teller, but her most important role was being a devoted mother and wife to her family.
She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Joanne enjoyed creative projects, such as sewing and crafting. She also had a fondness for nature. She loved her family and cherished the time they spent together. Many happy memories were made with family and friends when she baked everyone’s favorite desserts for Christmas and birthdays.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Raymond; her three children, Kyle and Keith Scuglik and Jenna (Dan) Eternicka; her beautiful granddaughter, Brynleigh Jo Eternicka; and her dog, Hershey. She is further survived by her siblings, Chuck (Joan) Wiberg, Carole (James) Metallo, Ken Wiberg and Karen (Steve) Czajka; and her many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kara Marie Scuglik; her sister, Suzanne Williams; and her father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Ann (Scuglik) Tucker.
