Joan T. Brunker, age 82 of Somers, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home.
She was born on July 1, 1933 in Chicago, IL and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Leiser) Duschene.
On November 6, 1954 in Chicago, IL she was united in marriage to Robert H. Brunker. She and her husband raised nine children.
After the children were grown, Joan worked as a reservation agent with Midway Airlines for several years. She was a member of AARP and kept active enjoying water aerobics, quilting, reading and working jigsaw puzzles.
Joan is survived by her husband, Robert of 61 years; her children, Jeanne (Vince) Jarzabek, Linda (David) Novak, Timothy (Gail) Brunker, Mariann Brunker, Richard (Diane) Brunker, Robert (Cynthia) Brunker, Jennifer (Michael) Banis, Amy (James) Koch and Martin (Dawn) Brunker and 21 grandchildren.
Service Date March 13, 2016
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Piasecki Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53144.
