We haven't kept in touch since Ann's passing, but I always remember his wonderful care of his Mother. Jerry was always a kind, caring son to his parents. I last saw Jerry at Milwaukee County Zoo, the proud Grandpa of 3 of those beautiful grandchildren. That will be my lasting remembrance of Jerry. My husband Jerry and I send our deepest sympathies. Linda, David and John, The simplest word to describe Jerry is caring. Obviously I will always remember the years he coached me for basketball at St. James and our years together on the parish council and as lectors together. My fondest memories are basketball when he would bring you boys to practice and the games which I remember like it was yesterday. I'm Very fortunate to have seen Jerry at our daughter's wedding in October although I wasn't able to visit as long as I would have liked to. My family's thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Linda, David, and John, I was so sad to read of Jerry's passing. He was a wonderful man, and I think of him with a smile every Christmas as I put the lights on my tree~remembering him laying under your tree, looking up to check his work, in his quest for the perfectly lit tree. He was one of a kind! My deepest sympathies to all of you and your entire family. Chris Tindall Welzen

Although I've lived in Florida for 34 years I never forgot the good times I had with Jerry. My thoughts are with friends and family.
