Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintJerome F. “Jerry” Kramer, age 77, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI, following complications of heart disease.
Born on August 29, 1938 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Frederick and Olenda (Meier) Kramer. He graduated from Salem Central High School in 1956 and was a resident of Somers until moving to Mt. Pleasant 10 years ago.
He was a foreman and retired from Mid States Tube in 2003. Prior to that, Jerry worked with his Dad as a John Deere Mechanic at Truesdell Implement in Kenosha County.
Jerry married Mary Ann Domenk on November 27, 2007.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge #286, and previously active with Sno-Blazers Snowmobile Club. Jerry loved the Packers, Polka music, and anything “John Deere”. He liked taking road trips, and spending winter months in Naples, Fl.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; his children, Lory (Doyle) Peacock, Janis (John) Hagerty, Sue (Paul) Sander, Sheri (Dean Felske) Kostic, Dan (June) Kosterman and Steve Kosterman; his grandchildren Alyssa Hagerty, Andrew (Megan) Hagerty, Adam Cicalese, Lukas Peacock and Julie (Dan) Floistad along with 5 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Karen Kramer and Diane (Larry) Zirbel; his sister-in-law, Carol Kramer and many other dear family and friends.
Along with his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his previous wife, Margaret “Peggy” and a brother, Donald.
Service Date August 12, 2016
Funeral services honoring Jerry’s life will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Somers Community United Church of Christ, 9918 12th Street, Kenosha. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
