Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintJeffrey James O’Connor, 64, passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2022. He was born in Kenosha on August 2, 1957 to Bernard and Jennie (Kozlowski) O’Connor.
Jeff was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, attending local schools and graduated from Bradford High School in 1975. He graduated from UW Parkside and the Police Academy, and proudly served on the Kenosha Police Department for 30 years, retiring in 2015. Since retirement, he was employed at Froedtert Kenosha Hospital.
Jeff married Rhonda Payne on December 9, 2000 in Kenosha.
He was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Kenosha.
Jeff liked golfing, bowling, and playing hockey. He enjoyed taking his daughter and her friends to Six Flags. He enthusiastically cheered for the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Badgers football team and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Rhonda Payne-O’Connor; his daughter, Kaitlyn Kay; sister, Kathie O’Connor; his mother-in-law, Carol Payne, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal and paternal grandparents, his aunt, Mary Kozlowski; his father-in-law, Russell H. Payne; sister-in-law, Brenda Jean Payne and other relatives.
Due to the covid pandemic, services will be held privately.
