Jeanette was born on February 18, 1929 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She attended Friedens Lutheran School from kindergarten through ninth grade and was a 1946 graduate from Mary D. Bradford High School. After high school she worked at Kenosha Full Fashion Mills, Simmons, and the Brown National Bank.
On June 30, 1951, Jeanette married the love of her life, William S. Benik, he preceded her in death. They were blessed with two daughters, Tamara (Stan) Campbell and Kimberly (Jeffrey) Ewens.
She loved her time spent with family and friends. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, playing cards and knitting.
Jeanette is survived by her daughters, Tamara (Stan) Campbell and Kimberly (Jeffrey) Ewens; four grandchildren, Megan (Campbell) Jorenby, Molly Campbell, Justin Ewens, and Amy (Ewens) Cronin; her four great-grandchildren, Isla Jorenby, Grant Jorenby, Aubrielle Cronin, and Scarlett Cronin.
In addition to her husband, William, Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services honoring Jeanette’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Piasecki Funeral Home 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI.
A visitation for Jeanette will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
