Jean C. Hansen, age 94, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Manor Care.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on March 30, 1923, the daughter of the late Fred and Anna (Meyer) Doerflinger.
In January of 1942, she was united in marriage to Fred J. “Fritz” Milloy. He preceded her in death in January of 1985. She later married LeRoy C. Hansen on April 16, 1994. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2008.
Jean was employed through the family business, H. Meyers and Sons Florist. She later worked for Barden’s in the cosmetic department until her retirement in 1986.
A faithful member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, she was a member of their Catholic Women’s Club. Jean had an eye for detail and was a talented floral designer, she loved to flower garden, play bridge, golf, read mystery novels and always enjoyed family get togethers.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Carol (Fred) (Milloy) Welborn; three grandchildren, Christine (Chad) Sherman, Michael (Laura) Fornal and Mark (Amber) Fornal and two great-grandchildren, Nicholaus and Corinne Fornal.
Service Date July 3, 2017
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4817-7th Avenue. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
