Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintJane M. Gyurina, age 58 of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Kindred Hospital – The Palm Beaches, Riviera Beach, FL.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on May 2, 1958 and was the daughter of Joseph M. and Winifred C. (Fox) Kopesky. She attended local schools and received her Associates Degree in business from Gateway Technical College.
On September 18, 1993, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Jon “Jay” Gyurina.
Jane was employed for 15 years in economic support with Kenosha County.
Jane liked traveling, going to casinos, bicycling, gardening; especially vegetables and canning, and she was a fantastic cook. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Stephen King novels, and was a Kentucky Derby fan.
She is survived by her husband, Jon “Jay” Gyurina; her parents, Joseph and Winifred Kopesky; her siblings, Kathleen (Bradley) Matthews, Peggy Guibault and Tina (Fernando “Dito”) Llanas; many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Jane was further survived by her mother-in-law, Joyce E. Gyurina; her brothers-in-law, Dr. Jeffrey and Joseph Gyurina; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Hubbard, Jill Fulmer and Dr. Jana Gyurina-Bever.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, John W. Gyurina; her brother-in-law, Paul Guibault; and her niece, Lauren Hubbard.
In accordance with Jane’s wishes, private funeral services will be held.
