James J. Puckett, age 81 of Alvin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Brookside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha surrounded by family.
Born in Crandon on May 23, 1937, he was the son of the late Fred and Mary (Day) Puckett.
He married Janet Pernaski on March 12, 1960.
Jim was retired for 30 years after working for AMC/Chrysler Corporation.
He loved fishing and hunting with his sons and grandsons. He was also an amazing wood carver. Jim was a very compassionate and generous man who absolutely adored his family.
He will be forever in the hearts of his wife of 58 years, Janet; his three children, Dennis (Karen) Puckett, Todd (Theresa) Puckett and Sandra (Greg) Hansen; his seven grandchildren; his eight great grandchildren; and five siblings.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
In accordance with Jim’s wishes, a funeral service will be held in his home town of Alvin WI in the summer of 2019 with family and friends.
