Jim Organ was born on April 7, 1971, in Racine, WI, to James I. Organ and Judith (Orth) Gillihan. Jim graduated from Bradford High School in 1990 and went on to earn a Marketing/Advertising Degree from Gateway Technical College.
He was employed with M&I Bank and then Hewitt/AON.
Jim’s love for sports has always been in his life. He loved playing football and if he wasn’t playing he was watching it, DAILY! After his illness prevented him from playing, he went to coaching kids. He had to be on the field. He volunteered his time at CYC coaching basketball, his niece’s T-Ball and son’s baseball.
In 2000, he married Kortney Pasterski. Jim took a lot of pride in renovating his home and having a great looking yard. The couple had two children, Emma and Aiden. Jim adored his children and would do anything to make them happy. He was a lifelong Bears and Cubs fan. His best times were watching games with the family. When able Jim also enjoyed woodworking. Jim had a great sense of humor and will be missed every single day. Jim suffered many years from MD (Mitochondrial) Disease, it took a lot from him every day, but he fought with everything he had.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Emma Organ; his son, Aiden Organ; his mother, Judith Gillihan of Kenosha; his sisters, Tammy Organ and Nicole (Matt) Maurer; his brother, Richard Gillihan; his nieces, Samantha Lucky, Jessica Lucky, Megan Maurer, Ashley Maurer and Hannah Maurer.
