Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintJacquelyn Joyce “Jackie” Hiegert, age 82 of Kenosha died on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Lakeview Specialty Hospital South, Waterford, WI, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Paris Township, Michigan on April 5, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Roy Richard and Lucy Belle (Stantz) Jarvis. She attended schools in Athens, MI and was a graduate of Athens High School. Jackie moved to our area in 1955.
She was employed with AMC/Chrysler Corporation, working in various positions over the years. She retired as a secretary in the engine division.
Jackie was on the Board of Directors of AMCU (American Motors Credit Union) and the Camp Delton Club. She loved camping, making candy with her best friend; Phyllis Dibble, bowling and the Packers. Jackie was known as the family “Cruise Director”.
She is survived by her four children, Carolyn (Scott) Peterson of Toledo, OH, Cindy Nudi of Holland, OH, Leila Simas of Rockford, IL and Roy (Andrea) Hiegert of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Joseph (Debbie) Nudi, Neil (Jen) Hiegert, Krystle Simas, Grace Hiegert and Ruby Hiegert; five great grandchildren, Lillian, Ethan, Josie, Kylie and Adalyn; many loving nieces and nephews; her “adopted” daughter, Kay (Steve) Anderson-Mutchie; and all the many people who called her “Mom”.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph; two brothers, Roy and Jerry Jarvis; and her former husband, Sam.
The family would like to thank the CCU staff at Kenosha Hospital for the special care they provided.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI, 53144.
