Jack Hill, It was truly a miracle that Duane and I were able to come and visit you in October of 2024. Little did we know it would be the last time we would be able to see you. I will never forget how surprised you were when we called and asked if we could visit you. You said, "Yes". You asked,"When"? Duane said, "In ten minutes." You both laughed. It was so good to talk with you on both Saturday and Sunday and catch up. Duane said, "This is about Jack." It truly was about you Mr. General Jackson. I am glad we could visit you, take pictures with you and laugh with you. It was just what our heavenly doctor ordered. May you truly rest in peace now. No more suffering. Eye has not seen what God has in store for those who love him. Love your sister in law, Terri Hill

He may have been my Stepdad, however he was always someone I could look up to and depend on! When I was moving and going through stuff he always was by my side. He wore his heart on his sleeve! He loved taking his time talking to people for hours and hours and taking many backroads. Hunting with his buddies, karate, taking naturw pictures and enjoying nature. He loved his wife my mom Jes dearly! They had a bond like no other. He loved his flashlights and conspiracy theories and got me into those as well, very open to all the behind the scenes on how the world truelly is. My son Jax had a great bond with him too and strived to be just like him and they even got into monster trucks together too. He even played doctor when jax had a scratch he needed a bandaid from dr papa bear. Jack also loved his motorcycle rides when he was in good shape to do so as well. Thank you for all the time you spent and memories and being a great Father to look up to. You are loved and missed by all. Thank you for serving our country and thank you for everything. Never forgotten and everyone will follow in your footsteps. Thanks for loving my mom and stepping up to be my stepdad! Ive never seen my mom ever love someone as much as she does you! Your a great guy all around! One last OORAH!

Papa Bear and Jax had a very close bond. when he visited he just wanted to be like Papa Bear. Jack still had some things from when he was teaching down south. and was teaching Jax. and Papa Bear was very impressed at how fast he caught on , and Jax then wanted to be in karate and be like Papa Bear. So his mom signed him up. Jack was beyond happy that he liked it and really looked forward to continue to help teach him we’ll visit. right after Jax joined karate Papa Bear had cancer, but even though he lives 7 hours away his mom brought him up to the hospital when he got brain cancer. cause he really wanted to show Papa Bear his Karate medal. Jax cousin Oliva was there at the time and they finally meet and Jax is the sweetest little guy and let his little cousin Olivia hold it ad stuff. that little man was Papa Bears everything. Jax was a mini Jack and was actually born on the marine cor birthday which Papa bear would brag about cause before he was born he kept saying he was gonna be born on the marine cor birthday , and he Papa Bear got his wish.

Although I didn't know Jack personally I got to know him while he joined the same bingo team, as his wife Jes We had small conversation, but I've grown to love his late wife Jes. She's a sweet lady who loved her husband very much. He'll be missed by many. God Bless!

Dad really loved having his beard grow out! He looked great with it and didn't care what anyone thought about it. Go dad!

Dad really was born to be a Marine. We were lucky to have such a strong guy in our corner who was consistently there to help when we all needed it. He will truly be missed for the person he was. He had a big heart and he always shared his love with everyone. No matter what.

I truly am praying for all of my husband’s Family and friends. Jack left this earth sooner than he should of. I can’t wait to go be at peace with him in paradise. I would always tell him “ once you go Jack , you never go back” .

This was taken in the early 2000's with dad and Genevieve on one of our road trips. We really loved road tripping and I can't wait to share that love with my kids and say, "This is where my dad brought me!"
