Born on July 4, 1936, in Tomah, WI; he is the son of the late Ralph and Viola (Anderson) Steele. He attended schools in Tomah and graduated from Kenosha High School.
Jack proudly served in the United States Navy.
On July 15, 1977, he was united in marriage to Lucille Bradford.
He was employed as a meat cutter with Piggly Wiggly; serving Kenosha for 50 years. Jack was also serving Kenosha at the Sunnyside Club as a part time bartender. He was a member of the UFCW, Local #1473; a member of the Kenosha Moose Club #286 and a member of the VWF Kenosha Post 1865.
He enjoyed being in the Hungryman’s Club, bowling, golfing, camping and deer hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille; his children, Marie (Gary) Arne , John (Teresa) Steele, Steve (Tina) Wilson, Scott (Betty) Wilson and Brad (Debbie) Wilson; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; his siblings, Edith DeFraties, Clint (Sandy) Steele and Margaret (Jack) Principe along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a brother, Burton Steele and a son, Jerry Paul Steele.
Service Date December 14, 2019
Memorial Services honoring Jack’s life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park Chapel, 4300 Green Bay Road, Kenosha, WI. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park Chapel.
