He was born on January 22, 1933, in Roccabernarda, Providence of Crotone Italy, the son of Francesco and Anastasia (Vaccaro) Piro.
On December 29, 1957, he married Domenica (Rosa) at Santa Maria Assunta Church in Italy. Ippolito came to the U.S. in 1965 and his wife and three children later joined him.
Ippolito was employed by Belle City Foundry in Racine upon his arrival in America, later moving to Kenosha where he worked at American Brass where he retired in 1992.
Ippolito will always be remembered as being a hard worker and never refused any work. He had a passion for working in his garden and being outdoors in general.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years; Domenica Piro; his children, Francesco (Susan) Piro, Anastasia (Dan) Fansler, Rosa (Antonio) Montemurro, Raffaele and Angelo Piro; his sisters, Domenica, Maria and brother, Angelo Giuseppe (Rosetta) Piro.
Ippolito was very blessed to have six grandchildren, Lori (Sean) Stanford, Michael (Jackie) Piro, Luisa Montemurro, Antonio (Kristen) Montemurro, Danny (Amanda) Fansler and Domenica (Adam) Hackbarth; his ten great grandchildren, Emilee, Bryson and Addyson Stanford, Olivia and Mason Piro, T.J., Dale, Francesco and Rocco Montemurro and Isabelle Hackbarth.
Ippolito was preceded in death by his parents, Francesco and Anastasia and his sister, Rosetta.
A visitation for Ippolito will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be appreciated.
The family of Ippolito would like to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Leonardo Montemurro and William Merritt for the wonderful care they gave.
