Born in Montalto Uffugo, Cosenza Italy on January 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Carmela (Coscarelli) Marrelli.
Iola resided in Italy, she moved to Argentina July 1952 and for the last 43 years she was a resident of Kenosha, WI.
On July 15, 1952, she was united in marriage to Orlando Caracciolo in Argentina. He preceded her death on May 19, 2022.
Iola was employed for eight years with Zion Cookie Factory. She also worked an additional eight years at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.
Iola was the heart of the family, every Sunday she made sure the family was together for lunch. Her homemade pasta and pasta sauce was always on the menu. Iola loved her garden and making homemade sausages with her husband Orlando. She loved waking up early in the morning to go work out at the KYF/YMCA.
She will be missed by her children, Frank (Adriana) Caracciolo and Rudy (Louise) Caracciolo; her grandchildren, Sebastian Caracciolo, Gisella Caracciolo, Frank Caracciolo, Alexander Caracciolo (Mel) and Austin Caracciolo; her great granddaughter, Sophia Lawson; her brothers, Rocco Coscarelli of Italy, Giovanni Coscarelli of Italy; her sisters, Ester Vildosa of Argentina, Thiresa Metallo of Kenosha, WI and Ida Martini of Kenosha WI.
In addition to her parents, Iola was preceded in death by her infant son, Mario Oscar; sister, Fiorana Librante; brothers, Fransico Marrelli of Italy, Alfredo Marrelli of Argentina and Eugene Marrelli of Kenosha WI.

SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home
Funeral services honoring Iola’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Piasecki Funeral Home 3720 39th Avenue.
Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
A visitation for Iola will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
