Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintIngrid “Ingy” (nee: Slupinski) Tomaszewski, age 53 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Hospice Alliance/Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.
She was born on April 8, 1963 and was the daughter of Erminia “Mimi” Slupinski.
On September 9, 1989 she was united in marriage to Edward Tomaszewski.
Ingrid worked for many years in the healthcare industry. She began employment with Woodstock Nursing Home, then M.J. Care and most recently, United Hospital Systems. She loved to take care of others and will be missed by many, whom she will miss as well.
Ingrid enjoyed vacations with her husband and son, camping and trips to Florida to see family. She loved to exercise, especially walking with her mom and friends. Most of all, Ingrid enjoyed entertaining and spending time with her family and dear friends.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; her son, Mathew (fiancée, Haley Neiper); her mother, Erminia “Mimi” (Don) Hassler; her sister, Heidi (Robert) Giordano; and her twin brother, Rick (Michele) Slupinski.

Service Date October 31, 2016
Funeral Services honoring Ingrid will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for the Mass. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
