Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintIda S. Kulbacki, age 89, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at HCR Manor Care.
Born on September 27, 1925, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Serafina Qualeatti.
Ida was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
She was employed at Nash Motors as an aircraft engine inspector during World War II. She later worked in the office at Great Lakes Naval Base. It was there that she met her future husband, John Kulbacki. On April 23, 1949, they were united in marriage at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1978.
After their children were grown, she returned to work part-time preparing insurance claims for Midtown Pharmacy and for the medical practices of Dr. Buencamino and Dr. Priti Patel. She was also a volunteer at St. Anthony School and St. Catherine’s Hospital.
Ida is survived by her three sons, Michael (Rue Chiapetta), John A. and Thomas Kulbacki; two grandsons, John P. and Matthew; two great grandsons; one niece and a nephew.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
Service Date March 26, 2015
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Piasecki Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Private entombment will be held in All Saints Mausoleum.
