Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintHorst Tielmann, age 60 of Kenosha, died on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie with his loving family by his side.
Born in Neunkirchen, Germany on February 2, 1955, he was the son of the late Otto and Helena (Gross) Tielmann. As an infant, Horst moved with his family to Kenosha.
On July 11, 1992 in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to Gail Prybylski.
Horst was employed with AMC/Chrysler for 37 years, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of U.A.W. Local 72 Retirees. Horst enjoyed taking daily walks along the lake and keeping up with current events. He had a great passion for old cars and car shows.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; his faithful feline companions that he loved, Sadie Mae and Sasha Lou; and his many relatives in Germany.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Werner.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Leonardo Montemurro and Dr. David Knight and their staff, Hospice Alliance, Inc. and Gail’s supportive family and friends for the special compassion and love they provided.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Horst’s life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
