Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintMrs. Hester Czadzeck, 94 of Kenosha, Wisconsin, formerly of Lewiston, Michigan passed away peacefully on October 13, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was welcomed into Heaven with outstretched arms by her late husband, Walter.
Hester was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on April 24, 1929 to William and Arminda (McCown) Dye.
She married Walter Czadzeck on December 19, 1945 and together the couple celebrated 47 years of marriage before Walter’s passing in September of 1993. Hester was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and she enjoyed cake decorating, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and quilting. She made many quilts for loved ones. She was happiest being with her family and in Northern Michigan. She was an avid U of M fan. She is and will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
Hester is survived by her children, Kenneth (Karen) Czadzeck of Kenosha, Wisconsin; Elizabeth Czadzeck of Kenosha, Wisconsin; thirteen grandchildren, Dale Czadzeck, Derek Czadzeck, Doyle Czadzeck, Mike Czadzeck, Jamie Czadzeck, Robert Czadzeck, Clayton Czadzeck, Elizabeth Holmes, Benjamin Czadzeck, Paul (Rick) Stanton, Ashley Shuttleworth, Cheyenne Shuttleworth, and Alec Swanson; and several great-grandchildren; sisters: Pauline Warner of Martinsburg, Virginia; Mary Lou Key of Cookeville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Arminda (McCown) Dye; husband, Walter; sons, Walter Czadzeck Jr and Michael Czadzeck; brothers; Ned Dye, John Dye, Bill Dye, sister; Adah Keeton; grandchildren; Dean Czadzeck, Amanda Shuttleworth; Damion Czadzeck.

SERVICE LOCATION Green Funeral Home
Funeral services honoring Hester’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, Michigan.
Interment will follow in Albert Township Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
