Born in Johannesburg, Germany on September 3, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Gottfried and Wanda (Krause) Jantz.
Hertha attended Kenosha schools after emigrating from Germany at the age of two.
On November 8, 1941 in Kenosha, she was united in marriage to Frank J. Neu. Sadly he preceded her in death on April 1, 1986.
For over twenty years, Hertha was an employed with American Motors Corp. In her later years, she assisted Sandy at Flowers with Love.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and in her free time she enjoyed crocheting and floral arranging.
She will be sadly missed by her two children, Judy (Leroy) Slowik and Jim Neu; a sister, Alice Sakal, and her four grandchildren, Jimmy Sexton, Julie (Sean) Genack, Jeff Neu and Sarah (Howard) Halwax.
Along with parents and husband, Hertha was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Herbert Jantz and a sister, Clara Cicchini.
Service Date January 8, 2015
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 8760 37th Avenue. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park
