Born in Rostowa, Poland on July 14, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Michal and Marianna (Sokolowska) Czechrowski.
On December 26, 1952 at St. Wojciecha Catholic Church in Elblag, Poland she was united in marriage to John Lemiesz. They came to America in October of 1962. They resided in Kenosha until August, 2015, when they moved to Florida. Sadly after 63 years of marriage, John preceded her in death on March 9, 2016.
Her hobbies were traveling, sewing, having lunch with friends and spending time with family.
Henryka is survived by her three daughters, Halina Lemiesz, Sarasota, FL; Bogumila Moore, Kenosha, WI and Jolanta (Kevin) Smith, Lakewood Ranch, FL; two grandchildren, Heather Reber of Sarasota, FL and Dr. Joshua (Stephanie) Burgess of Sun Prairie, WI; four great grandchildren Alexander and Christopher Reber, and Marek and Colton Burgess and great, great grandchildren: one brother, six half-sisters in Poland: one half-brother in Germany.
She was preceded in death by her husband John; two grandchildren Michael and Shawn Olsen; two brothers, two half-sisters and two step sisters in Poland.
Service Date August 25, 2017
Funeral Services honoring Henryka’s life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017. Friends and Relatives are asked to meet at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4817 7th Avenue for the celebration of the Mass at 10:00 a.m. Private inurnment will take place in St. Casimir Cemetery.
