Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintHelen R. Zuberbuehler, 89, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Grand Prairie Health and Rehab Center in Pleasant Prairie.
She was born in Mayville, WI, on January 14, 1927 to the late Frank and Eva (Bauer) Putsch. Helen graduated from Mayville High School in June 1944 and began working as a lab technician until June 1950.
On June 10, 1950 she married Will Zuberbuehler and in 1964 they made Kenosha their home. Helen devoted her life to being a homemaker and providing a good home for Will and their 5 children.
A member of St. Mary Catholic Church, she enjoyed cooking, decorating, sewing and gardening. Babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her great joy.
Helen is survived by her husband of 65 years, Will and her children, Barb Sumpter of Racine, Dennis Zuberbuehler of Sussex, Debra Zorn of Trevor, Mark (Sue) Zuberbuehler of Paris and David (Susan) Zuberbuehler of Menomonee, WI. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Helen was preceded in death by 4 sisters, 3 brothers, son-in-law, Gary Sumpter, daughter-in-law, Trisha Zuberbuehler and granddaughter, Krystal Zorn.
Private services will be held.
