Joy, Tim and family, So sorry for your loss. We had so much fun with her. We will always remember our Wed night's at McDonalds. She was a friend to everyone, and she always would say hi to everyone that walked past our table. She enjoyed her teasing by the guys and she loved when we would bring her some home made desserts. Helen will be greatly missed.

It's been said is sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit and a golden threat to the meaning of life. Helen embodied that quote. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was the life of the party until her life began winding down. Her sense of humor was boundless. Her snappy quips were evidence of her sharp mind and wit. Family and friends were her world. She was always up for a party or family gathering whether it was a holiday, birthday, picnic, shower, etc. When she baked Christmas cookies her snicker doodles were my favorite. Hosting family meals like Easter were festive events with decorations, delicious food and good company. At her favorite local eating establishments ...McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Nafi's Springwood Restaurant (for specialty soups, and cornbeef and cabbage) Gateway Cafe, etc. she had friends who joined her for meals. Helen was like a queen holding court. I will definitely miss my sister and cherished friend and there will be a void in my life. But I will remember all the fun times together and how she touched lives with her vitality and love. But I know she is reunited with our mother, her husband and loving family members and friends who have gone before her to eternal rest. With loving thoughts I believe she would say: Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. We will miss you and love you always; your sister Carol, Brother-in-law Edward and Knudson niece and nephews and great niece and great nephew
