She was born on Jan. 8, 1930, in Sugar Creek, Wis., the daughter of the late Edward and Minna (Schinke) Wiesner. She moved to Kenosha as a youngster, attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford.
On July 15, 1950, Helen was united in marriage to Robert R. Kresal at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenosha. Their marriage was blessed with almost 50 years of marriage and three children. Sadly Robert passed away on May 31, 2000.
Helen made a career as the homemaker for her family until years later; then she worked at Connie’s Day Care Center. A member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Helen enjoyed eating out with her friends, gardening and collecting angels.
Left to cherish Helen’s memory are her children, Joy Collar, Dave Kresal and Tim (Debbie) Kresal along with six grandchildren, Tiffany, Joey, Kim, Steph, Jenni and Felicia and five great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Carol (Edward) Knudson and Evelyn Blise and many loving nieces and nephews.
Service Date November 28, 2017
Funeral Services honoring Helen’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
