Heather was born on December 7, 1977, to Dorothy Hix and Michael Sorenson. She was born in the city of Kenosha and moved to Eau Claire and various locations after her father joined the Air Force.
Heather was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, niece, granddaughter, and cousin who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Heather was a loving mother, hard worker, and good friend to many. She was always willing to help those in need whenever the opportunity arose.
Spending time with her family was something she always looked forward to and loved doing. Above all things, Heather treasured every special moment she spent with her son Brandon, whom she lovingly adored.
Heather leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, her grandfather, Duane Sorenson; mother Dorothy Hix; father, Michael Sorenson; stepmother, Taehee Kim; sister, Suzanne Sorenson-Girard; brothers, Kevin Sorenson and Gregory Swenson and her son, Brandon Cruz who meant the world to her.
Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter & Dorothy Hix, Lorna & Bob Vidas and Aunt Tammy Hix who all loved Heather beyond words.

SERVICE LOCATION Prayer House Assembly of God
A celebration of life honoring Heather will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. at Prayer House Assembly of God, 1525 24th Ave, Kenosha.
