Born in St. Cloud, WI on June 5, 1928; he was the son of the late Alvin and Pauline Kramer.
Harvey proudly served his country as a Corporal in the US Army from April 1948 until his honorable discharge in April 1952.
He was married to Ramona and together they had a son. Sadly, Ramona passed away. He then married Jane Thiel on April 11, 1994 in Las Vegas and they enjoyed 26 years together.
Harvey was employed with Tecumseh Manufacturing Company; retiring after dedicating 35 years of service with them.
Shawano, WI was home for Harvey many years. You could always find him boating or fishing on Shawano Lake, golfing or working in the yard. Harvey and Jane later moved to Kenosha and were members of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jane; daughter in law, Norleen Kramer; step daughters, Jerralyn (Robert E.) Barton and Gwen (Edward) Steimle; grandchildren, Cory Kramer, Rhonda Kramer, Bri Ana Scheibl, Terra L Barton, David W. Barton, Dianna J. Young and Nicole L. Labanow; great grandchildren, Aiden, Makayla and Kailena Kramer, Josiah, Autumn and Bexley Kramer-Benoit, Kyli and Tobin Scheibl, Taelyn M. Barton, Jocelyn J. Maze, Jack W. Barton, William R. Barton and Madalyn J. Peterson and his siblings, Gladys Aldwardt and Ione Rediske.
Along with his parents, and first wife, Harvey was preceded in death by his son, Tobin Kramer; his sister, Vera Thuemuler and step son, Gale A. Marquart.
Service Date May 28, 2021
Services for Harvey will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan, Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601, in Harvey’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
