Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintH. Michael “Mike” Maxcy, age 71, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin.
Born in Mississippi on May 21, 1953, to Harold and Sula Maxcy. He lived in Mississippi for the first few years of his life. After moving to Wisconsin, Michael spent his formative years in Kenosha, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1972.
Michael worked for Chrysler Corporation, assembling vehicles until his retirement in 2008. He was an avid Packer fan, though he loved all sports. Michael enjoyed biking, this hobby took him to Iowa, Ireland and on a trip from Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh. He was a Civil War enthusiast. He enjoyed meeting his fellow Chrysler retirees for a monthly breakfast. Michael was a regular at Anna’s on the Lake where he enjoyed coffee and conversation.
Michael is survived by his mother, Sula Maxcy; his children, Mike (Melissa) Maxcy, Brian (Missy) Maxcy, Michelle (Lynn) Mizner, Benjamin Maxcy and Ariel (Patrick) Jahn; his grandchildren, Cade Maxcy, Tatum Maxcy, Alyssa Madsen, Zenon Maxcy, Grayson Mizner, Joshua Maxcy, Aiden Jahn and Autumn Jahn; his great-grandchildren, Olivia Madsen and Abigail Madsen; nieces, Sadie May and Paige Thurnblad; and his siblings, Debbie (Charles) Vite and Paul (Dawn) Maxcy. He is further survived by his long-time partner, Debra Torre; her children, Peter Torre, Nicole (Dominic) Lanza and Angela Torre; and their grandchildren, Sophia and Scarlett Lanza.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Harold Maxcy; his brothers, Charles Richard Maxcy and Steven Lee Maxcy.

SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home
Funeral services honoring Michael’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha. WI.
Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
A visitation for Michael will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
