Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintGloria A. Hasenberg, age 85 of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Brookside Care Center, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Kenosha on May 12, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Bert M. and Domenica (Mabellini) Stefani.
She was a 1952 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School and she received her Associate Degree in Marketing from Gateway Technical College.
On October 8, 1955, at St. George Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Mark Tom Hasenberg.
From 1982 until her retirement in 1996, Gloria was employed with Jockey International assisting them in opening new stores and training new employees. She previously was employed in the office with AMC from 1952 until 1955.
Gloria was a volunteer in the gift department with the former St. Catherine’s Hospital and St. George Parish from 1973 until 1981. She later volunteered in the Kenosha Hospital Gift Shop. When her children were small, she assisted and volunteered with the Girl Scouts and at her children’s school.
Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, reading, traveling and enjoying her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Tom Hasenberg; her children, Susan Klodnicki, Thomas (Liz) Hasenberg, James (Megan) Hasenberg, Edward Hasenberg and Mark J. (Heather) Hasenberg; her grandchildren, Dr. Susie (Dr. Cleveland) Piggott, Michael Klodnicki, Christian, Brady and Henry Hasenberg, Kenneth Cecil and Michael Hernandez; her brother, Albert Stefani; and her sister, Mary Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Art Stefani; her sister, Grace Martin; her half- brother, Chuck Stefani; and her half-sisters, Zelma Anderson, Claudia Gerber, Dell Pavek and Angeline Rossett.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Brookside Care Center and Hospice Alliance, Inc. for the special care they provided to Gloria.

SERVICE LOCATION St. Marys Catholic Church
A Gathering of relatives and friends will be held at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services honoring Gloria’s life will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 7300 Block of 39th Avenue. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for the Mass. Private inurnment will take place in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Hospice Alliance, Inc., 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 would be appreciated.
