Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintGeorge David Myers, of Kenosha, age 65, succumbed to cancer on March, 15, 2016 at United Hospital System- Kenosha Campus.
He was born in Kenosha on April 29, 1950 to George V. and Marjorie (Kuhnley) Myers. He was a prodigious child with an amazing mechanical ability. He was able to rebuild a motor at age 10. As a child he was known to dismantle neighbor’s doorbells for the parts he needed for projects.
He began working at Apex Machine Products of Racine as a teenager and advanced to Vice President of the company, retiring due to ill health in 2015.
He is survived by his sister, Judith (Robert) Bernhardt of Arbor Vitae, WI; brother, Charles Myers of Pleasant Prairie, WI; nieces, nephews and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Marilyn, Betty and Ruth and a brother in infancy; sister in law Karen; brother in law Leo, and nephew Wilson.
Inurnment will take place in Webster, WI where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
