Born on June 15, 1951, in Kenosha, WI, Gary was a proud American citizen with a deep love for his family and his community.
Throughout his life, Gary cherished special moments, such as meeting boxing legend Muhammad Ali, a memory that he held close to his heart. His love for fishing took him to serene waters, providing him with moments of solace and joy. Gary was also an avid traveler, exploring the beauty of Florida, Arizona, Mexico, and Italy, where he immersed himself in different cultures and landscapes.
As a car enthusiast, Gary found great pleasure in his collection of vehicles, including his Camaro, Chevelle, Corvette, Firebird, and prized purple Cuda 440 with a six pack. His passion for cars extended to his career as a car salesman at Anthony Pontiac-Buick-GMC, where he honed his expertise and built lasting relationships with his colleagues and clients.
In addition to his automotive interests, Gary was a dedicated coin collector, finding delight in discovering rare and unique pieces that added depth to his collection. His hobbies brought him immense joy.
Gary will be dearly missed by his daughter, Alyse (Robert Witz) Leasure; son, Michael Barlow; grandchildren, Joey (Vanessa), Jay (Mason), Hailie, Sonja, Colin, Anthony, and Avery; and sisters, Nancy (Darrell), Joyce, and Donna.
