Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintFrank Rosinski passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 29, 2016, at United Hospital Systems – St. Catherine’s Campus.
Frank was born on March 8, 1927, in Kenosha, and was the son of the late Boleslaw “Ben” and Jozefa (Scrupa) Rosinski.
On August 22, 1953, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crandon, he married Lena Ardith Wilson. Frank met Ardith in November of 1952, during deer season. They were introduced to each other by Frank’s friend and Ardith’s brother who served together in the service during WWII. Sadly, after 61 years of marriage, Ardith preceded him in death on February 27, 2015.
Frank was employed with AMC/Chrysler Corp. for 46 years as a tool grinder, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, the NRA and was a member of the UAW Local #72 Retirees.
Frank enjoyed the outdoors; including hunting, fishing and gardening. He especially enjoyed family and spending time at his second home in Crandon.
He is survived by his two sons, Ed and Dan (Ellen) Rosinski; his grandchildren, Lauren, Nicole, Jenna, and Ben and a sister, Charlotte Martin.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his children, Frank, Robert, Deborah and Steven and his siblings, John and Jeanette.
Service Date March 4, 2016
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery.
