Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintFrank J. Slagoski, Jr., age 100 of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Home.
Born in Marathon County, Wausau, WI on October 6, 1915, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Mary (Wirtz) Slagoski, Sr. He moved to Kenosha in 1927.
On July 17, 1937 he married Deloris Arnold at St. Frances Xavier in Brighton, WI. They had three children.
He worked at AMC for 30 years and retired in 1975.
He was a member of U.A.W. Local 72 and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Frank and his wife of 60 years loved to travel and enjoyed being with all of their grandchildren. He had a special name for all of them. The cookie jar was always full.
He is survived by his children, Mary Jane (Bill) Neuhaus of Kenosha, Richard Slagoski of Kenosha, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
He is further survived by his son-in-law, Wayne Meredith, sister-in-law, Pat Langendorf, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris, daughter, Cassandra (Sandy) Meredith, great granddaughter, Sierra Buchkowski, 6 sisters and 5 brothers.
The family thanks the staff at St. Joseph Home for taking such good care of Frank and also thank you to Dr. Scott Feldy.
Service Date June 30, 2016
Funeral Services honoring Frank’s life will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
