The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pleskunas. She attended Kenosha Schools. Evelyn was a member of Lakeside Lutheran Church of Kenosha WI.
She married the love of her life Daniel Ryan on October 2, 1981.
She was employed as a waitress at The Bartley House and Candlelight Supper Club. Evelyn loved the Packers but her deepest love was her family.
Survivors include her children, Judy (Ray) Holm, Joanne (Wayne) Abbott of WI, Kitty (Rick) DeaGuero of Silver City, MI; stepson, Daniel Ryan of AR; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Ryan; parents, Joseph and Lucy (Sevick) Pleskunas; sons, Ronald, Gary, and James Fortner; daughter, Barbara Mares; grandsons, Jason Mares, Justin Mares and Michael Fortner; and brother, James Pleskunas.

A visitation for Evelyn will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha..
Funeral services honoring Evelyn’s life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Lakeside Lutheran Church, 3833 8th Ave, Kenosha.
Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum.
