Born in Crawford County, WI, on November 2, 1926, she was one of eleven children born to the late John and Josephine (Rahberger) Cleven.
On June 12, 1948 she was united in marriage to Robert G. Welch. Sadly, after celebrating 52 years together, Robert passed away on January 29, 2001.
Eunice was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church and of the Danish Sisterhood of America, Lodge #20. She cherished being a homemaker for her family; a devoted wife and mother.
Left to treasure her memory are her daughters, Carol Welch and Nancy (Charles) Turner; seven grandchildren, Nikki (Mark) Feest, Adam (Kim) Street, Matt (Stef) Street, Amber (Jim) Reeves, Josh Turner, Lauren Lien and Lindsay (Shawn) Kimble; seventeen great- grandchildren; a brother, Frank Cleven and a sister, Joyce Hiesig and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Robert, Eunice was preceded in death by a son, Mark Welch; three brothers; five sisters and a great-granddaughter, Rosie Kimble.
Service Date January 31, 2019
Funeral Services honoring Eunice’s life will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2224 30th Avenue. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
