Born on November 6, 1933, he was the son of the late Andrew and Katherine (Bakula) Majerko. He attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.
He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from February 17, 1953, until his honorable discharge on April 6, 1954.
On June 27, 1956, he was united in marriage to Vivian M. Weidner in Kenosha. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2008.
For many years, Eugene held various positions with AMC/Chrysler Corporation, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #973 and U.A.W. Local 72. Eugene was very creative and industrious in his workshop.
Surviving Eugene are his children, John Majerko and Mary Majerko, both of Kenosha and his brothers, Raymond (Rosie) Majerko of Kenosha and Robert (Connie) Majerko of Racine.
In addition to his parents and wife, Eugene was preceded in death by a sister, Helen.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Entombment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
