Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintEsther M. “Buffy” Kaiser-Dougherty, age 87, a resident of Casa Del Mare, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
Born in Milwaukee on September 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Adolf and Martha (Spieth) Grad.
She was a graduate of Wauwatosa East High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In August 9, 1952, Buffy was united in marriage to John Kaiser. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1979. On July 25, 1980 at First Congregational Church, she was united in marriage to William Dougherty. In the summer, they were blessed to celebrate 37 years together.
She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church. Buffy enjoyed traveling; especially to the Kaiser Family Compound in Three Lakes. Her loving family was the most important part of her life.
Buffy will be always remembered by her loving husband, Bill Dougherty; four children, John (Diane) Kaiser, Kathleen Diener, Victoria (Kevin) Finger and William (Terry) Dougherty; her grandchildren, Jeffrey and Mitchell Kaiser, Matthew and Katherine Diener and Brianna Finger; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and John Diener.
In addition to her parents and first husband, John Kaiser; she was preceded in death by a son, Craig Dougherty.
Service Date November 25, 2017
Memorial Service honoring Esther’s life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
