A lifelong resident of Kenosha she was born on February 7, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Alex and Martha (Palmissano) Potente. She was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
On December 31, 1949 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Alex Taleronik. After nearly 39 years of marriage, sadly, Alex preceded her in death on December 1, 2004.
She was employed as an administrative assistant with Simmons Company and Eaton Dynamatic Corporation.
Esther was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society. She was also a member of St. Nicholas Church, the Holy Trinity Sisterhood and St. Mary’s Friendly Center. Esther liked to spend winters in Florida and she enjoyed reading and watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
She is survived by her loving nephews, Arthur (Deborah) Tillman, Wayne (Martha) Tillman, John Pasquali and Steven (Alisa) Taleronik; her nieces, Mary Alice (Alan) Corradini, JoAnn Pasquali, Therese Schulist, Marie Patty, Janet (Terry) Cantwell, Charlene Piery and Ann (Dean) Jackson; her sisters-in-law, Donna Taleronik and Martha Dorff; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alex, she was preceded in death by a son in infancy, John Taleronik; her sisters, Angeline Tillman and Helen Pasquali; her brothers-in-law, Charles Tillman, Steve, Andrew, and Walter Taleronik, Louis Pasquali; sisters-in-law, Ann and Viola Taleronik and her nephew, William Taleronik.
Service Date October 27, 2017
Funeral Services honoring Esther’s life will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 beginning with a prayer service at 11:15 a.m. from the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2224 45th Street. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
