Born March 12, 1997, Esai was the son of Emiliano Barrera Sr. and Elizabeth Garcia. Born and raised in Kenosha, he graduated from Reuther High School.
Esai loved playing basketball, being with family and friends and taking care of his two children Essaiah and Ezrael.
He will be remembered as a loving father, son, and brother. He is survived by his parents, Emiliano Barrera Sr. and Elizabeth Garcia; his children, Essaiah and Ezrael; his siblings, Emiliano Barrera Jr., Elesette Barrera and Eleo Barrera; his grandparents, Eddie (Erma)Valdez, Leroy (Sue) Barrera, and Leonor Olivares; his uncles, Eddie Garcia, Ethan Valdez, Eric Valdez, Adrian Barrera, Leroy Barrera Jr., Nazario Barrera; his aunts, Veronica Barrera, Netiva Barrera; his nephews, Emiliano Barrera III and Elanzo Munir Barrera.

Funeral services honoring Esai’s life will be held privately.
Interment will take place in St. Casimir Cemetery.
A visitation for Esai will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53144.
Due to public health concerns, and in compliance with CDC guidelines, only 50 people will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time. For the safety of our guests, you may be asked to wait outside. Social distancing will be maintained and those in attendance are required to wear a face covering. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
