Born in Kenosha on April 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Adolf and Bertha (Tangler) Hackenberg. She attended local schools up to 9th grade; then furthered her education at a vocational school for three years.
On June 20, 1953 she was united in marriage to John Joseph Danner. Sadly, John passed away in 1982.
Emma worked at Coopers before retiring from Oster’s in 1953 to become a homemaker for her family.
She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, crocheting, and spending time with family.
Emma is survived by her daughter, Linda (James) Wellman.
In addition to her parents and husband, Emma was preceded in death by her son, Thomas and her siblings, Anna Rusch, Marie Goff and Joseph Hackenberg.
Service Date December 20, 2017
Funeral Services honoring Emma’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4816 7th Ave., Kenosha. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
