Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintEmily “Mickey” Cerasani, age 87 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab Center.
Born in Kenosha on November 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Rok and Antonia (Malnar) Topolovec. She was a graduate of Kenosha High School.
Mickey was married in July of 1967, in Kenosha, to her loving husband James Cerasani. They spent many wonderful years together in their home in Kenosha. They loved to travel together and throughout the years, they also enjoyed the company of their many loving pets.
She was a very hardworking woman who was employed with U.A.W. Local #72 as a clerk for many years. She also spent many of her younger years enjoying her work as a waitress at Oage Thomsen’s Restaurant.
She was a long-time member of Kenosha Amity Lodge #692 of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America and the U.A.W. Local 72 Retirees.
She is survived by her two brothers, Rudy and Ted Topolovec; her step-daughter, Pat Cerasani Grigerek; two sisters-in-law, Joanne and Julie Topolovec; her two grandchildren, Lexi and Zach Martin; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Cerasani; her daughter, Jan Fennel Martin; her step-son, James Cerasani; and a brother, Frank Topolovec.
Service Date January 14, 2017
A Memorial Service honoring Emily’s lie will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Private inurnment will take place in Green Ridge Cemetery.
