Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintEmilia M. “Millie” Cigan, age 90, of Pleasant Prairie, died on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at her home with her loving family at her side.
Born in Vlaska Bella, Czechoslovakia on August 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Augustine and Mary (Siekel) Blaho.
On June 23, 1951, in Johnstown, PA, she was united in marriage to Andrew Cigan. They made Kenosha their home in 1970. Sadly, Andrew passed away on August 5, 1984. Millie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; very proud of her family.
Millie was a teacher’s aide for many years working with children in the Kenosha Unified System; retiring in 1990.
She was a former member of St. Scholastic Catholic Church in Bristol and a current member of St. Anne Catholic Church.
Millie is survived by her children, Mark (Amy) Cigan of Madison, Andrea (Thomas) Griffey of Pleasant Prairie, Lisa (Jeff) Wiggins of Plano, TX; her five grandchildren, Joshua (Malory) Griffey, Andrew Phillip Griffey, Sam and Anna Wiggins and Benjamin Cigan; her great grandson, Rockett Griffey and a sister, Mary (Ralph) Marker of Johnstown, PA.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Anne Elliott
According to Millie’s wishes, private family services will be held.
