Teri, Maren, Lance, Andie, Gigi and Bean; my heartfelt condolences to all of you. This is Barb Lundskow from the old neighborhood. All week I have been reflecting on the many "adventurous" days and sleepovers at The Becker House; ie: the Christmas tree left up until July and the up-side-down Christmas tree, just to name a couple. Your Dad always greeted me with a warm "not you again" and would pretend to chase me back home. Maybe he wasn't pretending :-).....who needs ELEVEN KIDS! But seriously, your parents always had room for one more. Lysa and I met at Sunnyside and our friendship continued through college. Through six years of cheerleading and Kimce Club, countless years walking to school together, many double dates to homecoming, prom, and concerts, in the old blue Studebaker! And even summers in Eagle River with my family. I moved from Kenosha in 1983, now living in Charleston, SC. But still saw Lysa occasionally when visiting my parents. Wish I could be there for Lysa's celebration, as she will be surrounded by all our old friends. Our last encounter was at Linda Staude's funeral 3 years ago. I was standing at the door and Lysa came in, green eyes sparkling, big smile, surrounded by her positive spirit! She was beautiful inside and out. I am thankful she lived every one of her short 68 years to the fullest! Kind regards to all of you, and Lysa's kids and extended family.

I’m so sad for the entire family . Lysa was always a bright light, always care free and giving. As a kid I always remember her beautiful long red hair and how she always was laughing . Gone way to soon .

She Dear Casey, Katie and family We are so sorry that you have lost your Mom and Grandmother. She was a wonderful woman and passed her wonderful adventurous spirit to all of you. I see it and all of it’s affects in all she loves. It is there in you and in your children. She will be there forever in your hearts. She somehow touched everyone she met. The first time I met her she asked me to go to burning man and jump out of a plane. I was surprised she thought I as as brave and adventurous as she was. I wish. Yes, hug everyone, forgive everyone, and make moments and memories everyday. She lives in you. I wish we were home to pay our respects. We are off to Nashville to celebrate Aaron’s sons birthday so I take it to heart that we hug everyone. We hug you virtually. She was a very good person and it is reflected in you. Love and hugs to you all, Dawn and Tim Christensen
