Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintElizabeth L. “Betty” Zuicarelli, age 91 of Kenosha and Sun City, AZ, died on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side.
Born in Duluth, MN on April 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late August H. and Viola Belle (Schneider) Fisher.
On August 10, 1946, she was united in marriage to Frank J. Zuicarelli. They resided in Kenosha until 1971 and then relocated to Beloit, WI. After retirement, in 1984, they moved to Sun City, AZ, to be closer to their son. Sadly, after 51 years of marriage, Frank preceded her in death on July 25, 1997.
Elizabeth was employed with Abbott Laboratories and retired in 1974.
Her hobbies include golf; having four registered holes-in-one, knitting, music, gardening, flowers, playing cards, cooking and volunteering. She was a Phoenix Suns fan, and above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her three children; a son, Frank Zuicarelli, Jr. of Cheno Valley, AZ; two daughters, Patricia Parker of Kenosha and Marcia Zuicarelli of Hoffman Estates, IL; five grandchildren, Joe (Amy) Parker of Racine, Lody (Hope) Parker of Kenosha, Micky (Kori) Parker of Kenosha, John (Heather) Hoover of Ogden, UT and Tina Zuicarelli of IN; eleven great grandchildren, Brittany, Jessica, Logan and Brandon Parker; Tony and Shelby Hoover; Jazmine Zuicarelli and Megan, Tiffany, Alexis and Joshua Colgrove; and two great-great grandchildren, Nolan and Salina; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael Parker; seven brothers, four sisters, seven nephews and a niece.
Elizabeth’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Hospice Alliance, Inc. for the kind and loving care and support shown to Elizabeth and her family.
Service Date September 17, 2017
A Memorial Service to celebrate and honor Elizabeth’s life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue.
