Elijah A. Frazier, age 67 of Kenosha died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at United Hospital Systems – Kenosha Hospital Campus.
Born in Chicago on August 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Alvin and Oletha (Sykes) Frazier.
Elijah honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Elijah was employed with Sanmino Corporation in their maintenance department. He previously was employed with Frost Company until their closing and Bradford High School in their security department.
Elijah was a member of Second Baptist Church, Voice of Second Baptist and their Men’s Ministry.
Elijah played softball while living in Chicago and he then played on the Washington Island Fish Market team in Kenosha. Elijah enjoyed the time he spent coaching the Midnight Baseball League at CYC. He was a diehard White Sox, Bulls and Bears fan.
Elijah will be remembered by his sister, Renee Frazier-Morrison; his daughters, Rhonda Coleman and Kim Coleman; his longtime companion, Janice Lott; his daughter-in-law, Sierra Winfrey-Harper; his grandchildren, Christopher Harper, Jr., Brenden Harper and Brooklyn Harper; his sister-in-law, Geraldine Frazier; his nieces and nephews, Dominic (Toni) Frazier, Denee (Attila Jordan) Frazier, Cory Morrison, Latonya (Darrel) Frazier-Hooker, Oletha (Shawn) Payne, Derrick and Rodney Watkins, Edward (Denise) Frazier, Ellis (Roberta Harner) Strickland, Roshena (Rob) Andrews; his godson, Gregory Tyler Jelks; his aunts, Ida McMullen and Irma Kent; his uncle, Thomas McMullen; and a host of many other loving great nieces and great nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Chris Harper; three brothers; two sisters; his nephew, Wilson J. Sutton, Jr.; and his step-father, James Harper.

Service Date October 18, 2014
A Home Going Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 3925-32nd Ave. Full military honors will follow. Private interment will take place in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
