Elaine Van Meter, age 76, formerly of Round Lake Beach, IL, late of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018.
Born on May 4, 1941, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Caroline Bouloukos.
On March 23, 1968 in Chicago, IL, she was united in marriage to the late Ernest Van Meter. She rejoined the love of her life on what would have been their 50th anniversary.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and loved watching them play in their athletic endeavors. A true super mom from cheerleader to taxi driver to coach to role model she did it all. She was a die-hard Cubs fan and loved being outdoors. No matter where she was, she was always the life of the party and made everyone laugh.
Elaine will be deeply missed by her four daughters, Ellen (Wallace) Grimmer of Kenosha, WI, Eileen Van Meter of Round Lake Beach, IL, Evelyn (Bob) Becker of Morton, IL, and Elena Van Meter of Kenosha, WI; three grandchildren Bobby, Josi and Maddy Becker; and many, many friends.
Service Date March 30, 2018
Funeral Services honoring Elaine’s life will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Piasecki Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
