Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintEdward A. Nedweski, Jr., age 76, of Kenosha, died on Monday, February 6, 2017 at United Hospital System – St. Catherine’s Campus.
Born in Kenosha on October 31, 1940, he was the son of the late Edward and Gladys (Zalatuka) Nedweski. He attended local schools and was a 1958 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
On October 18, 1990 in Kenosha he was united in marriage to Betty Lowder. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2010.
Ed dedicated much of his life to being the founder, owner and operator of Ed’s Used Tires. He was known for his special gift of gab and offering others a hot cup of coffee.
He had a passion for all types of animals and loved to fish, garden and cook. Ed will forever be remembered as a very giving and caring man who loved his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Laura (Thomas), Linda, Edward (Kimberly) and Annette; his sisters, Pat, Kathy and Caroline; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bernie and Joyce.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jim Owens; Ed’s “beloved adopted brother”, for always being there for him.
Service Date February 11, 2017
Funeral services honoring Ed’s life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 beginning with a prayer service at 11:15 a.m. from the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2020 91st Street. Entombment will be held Monday, February 13th at 1:00 p.m. in All Saints Mausoleum.
