Nothing meant more to Earlene than her family and her friends were a close second. It was vey important to her that she maintain friendships, no matter the ups & downs of life or time or distance that separated people. She befriended me when I moved to Kenosha & joined the Rotary Club and has been a rock solid influence in my life ever since, treating my son like one of her own and referring to herself as my adopted mother, my own mom having passed away the year I moved to Kenosha. My heart & prayers reach out to her family, knowing that her influence and the joys & memories of special times together will live on.

Dear Judy and Steve - I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother, who did leave an indelible mark on so many lives and this community!!! We were friends for such a long time; ever since you and Mary were in second grade!!! It is so hard to lose a loved one; your family has had three losses in such a short time!! If we believe as we've been taught, we will see each other again; your mother must have been ecstatic to see Ruthie and your dad!!!! And not forgetting her parents and Aunt Pat! I will always remember my friend and I singing Seed Scattered and Sown and making new words for it!! Vine, Fruit of the Loom!! We were singing a duet at Brookside Mass with Father Bill officiating and she popped out with that!! I looked at her and burst out laughing!!! We never forgot that!! She accomplished much in her lifetime and always had a zest for it!! Have a safe journey, dear friend and rest in peace with your loved ones!!

Mrs. Girman was a wonderful lady who loved all the children in her care. My son went to Merry Morning many years ago. The program was excellent. I have always credited her for the great foundation he had as he began kindergarten. Mrs. Girman was kind and loving and will be missed by many. May her soul and all faithfully departed rest in peace.
