Dorothy M. Rochau, age 92 of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Regent Manor.
Born on September 16, 1922, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Paula (Schneider) Mura. Raised and educated in Kenosha, she was a graduate of Kenosha High School.
In 1943, Dorothy was united in marriage to Robert Cass. On August 30, 1969, she was later remarried to Rudolph Rochau in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2003.
For 25 years, she was employed with Frost Co., as an Executive Secretary.
Dorothy was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Double S Club and as an avid golfer, she was a member of the Bristol Swingers golf league. She also enjoyed bowling, playing duplicate bridge and had the luckiest streak playing cards and Bingo. Nothing interrupted her while watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Michael (Patricia) Cass; her three granddaughters, Christine (Scott) Lewandowski, Jennifer (Doug Emert) Cass, Emily (Michael) Rateike and six great grandchildren, Renee, Ryan, Allysa, Erin, Kylie and Benjamin.
In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Mura.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Regent Manor and Compassionate Care Hospice for their loving support and care.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 7117 14th Avenue (Sheridan Rd. and 73rd St.) at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
